Risk Management and Assessment
Almost every Health and Safety activity has a requirement for the Assessment and Management of risk. We help to identify the hazards and evaluate the risks using focussed methods. We also train our clients in this activity and avoid the use of generic assessments.
 
Health and Safety Legislation
There is a wide range of health and safety legislation that applies to UK organisations. Some of it is core to everyone but we can particularly help our clients by identifying and focussing that which specifically applies to their business. We also monitor and advise existing clients where changes in legislation will affect their operations in the future.

Fire Prevention
Fire can rapidly devastate a business or close it completely. We assist our clients by assessing the risks, ensuring all necessary procedures and precautions are in place, training employees and ensuring fire awareness is maintained at the highest possible level.
 
Accident Prevention
Criminal prosecution by the enforcing authorities and civil litigation by employees and others can be a very serious and costly matter. In our advisory role we help to identify where and how accidents may occur; how to prevent accidents and how to carry out investigations using statutory forms, witness statements and photographic evidence.

Health and Safety Policies
We assist our clients to produce a living (and not generic) policy document that names the persons responsible for particular activities. The health and safety policy will focus on general arrangements, identification of hazards that may be encountered by employees and others, how employees are trained and the production of a Policy Statement signed by the Health and Safety Director.
